Artist's Comments

This is one of my first attempts at Spyro.

Hand drawn and textured on Paint and Photoshop.

EDIT (5th Feb 2008): Slight texture enhancements and corrections.

(9th Feb 2008): Other minor corrections I didn't notice before (eg. Bianca's eye color and Sparx's gloves).

Spyro, Sparx, Bianca and other Spyro characters are copyright of VU Games.

Beautiful colours and reminds me exactly of what the game was like... love it! 83

I'm drawing a fancomic, it has colours and everything. [link]
this reminds of one of the stages in the demo of the first Spyro, only the guy holding the egg was constantly taunting you with "Na, na, na-na, na!" and chuckling.

- The Joker, Batman: The Animated Series
It was still Insomniac on Spyro 3, unless Bianca has since appeared in any other games. The Spyro series has so gone to pot over the years, such a shame. The original 3 games are landmarks.

I'm glad you find it that authentic looking. I was worried I got the characters a little off model.

They're in almost every game (par perhaps the newer ones with a different continuity). Bianca I suppose may be a homage to them.

I think she appeared in Enter the Dragonfly and the Game Boy series, though either way Spyro and it's characters are VU property as they are it's publishers (just like Sonic is made by Sonic Team but is still SEGA property). Spyro seems to have gone downhill in a similar manner to Crash, having both been ditched by their creators, though things seemed to have gone upward for them a little now they have consistant developers.
