'Master entry confirmed- Enemy located- Terminate the enemy'
- E-101 Beta (Sonic X)

Picture of E-101 Beta (MKII upgrade) from Sonic Adventure. Hand drawn then textured on Paint. Tried to emulate Uekawa's style to make it look authentic.

E-101 Beta and all other Sonic characters are copyright of SEGA.

that was my favourite boss from the game.Shame E 102's story was so short and the bosses were so easy.

I am the dreamer you are the dream
I know. If it wasn't for those aspects E-102's story would have been perfect. Zeta and Beta MKII were at least challenging though (note: try getting an Action Replay, there's 'Gamma anywhere' codes in GS Central, not sure about a harder boss code, but you could perhaps ask about one on their forums).

Big brother Beta! :glomp:

Man, that made me so sad when Beta1 got scrapped... He was a sweet guy. Or at least Gamma thought so...

Of course it's sticky. It's lemonade.
Yeah, he and Gamma seemed to be close, though there are beliefs Beta was actually evil and jealous of Gamma. I think there's also another theory that his attack on Gamma was out of the same realisation as him (perhaps the image of Birdie's family flashing before him near-death as well). Either way they can both be considered rather tragic characters.

Hm...very true...... And yet in the same light, there is also hope in both of their lives. Because after their robot shells were destroyed, the birds were able to reunite.

The ending seems to leave it ambiguous as to whether they are dead or simply 'free'. The most common theory is sort of both, in that while the birds are them in some form or other, the unique conscience that was formed from their robotic bodies was destroyed.

Hm...true.... The birds may "remember" certain events that happened...but.... Well then -like you said- you've got to think that it's both. Since the most part of Gamma's sudden change of heart was due to his rememberance of his family... And just in thinking about it, was he the daddy bird or the mother bird?:O_o: (Just wondering cuz we both call him a he when the bird might have been a she. ^^; )

Hard to say. The bird is pink which is usually attributed as a feminine color, though it may just be a lighter red (also considered Nidoran in Pokemon). Then again the bird may not be completely related to Gamma's form (it is unlikely a robot can have an official gender anyway, it's just easier to label a sentient form with one). Also note that Gamma's conscience was formed not just from the bird, but his empathy for Amy and his E-Series brothers.

True, pink is an extremley feminie color.... Which is why I don't care for it. :XD: But yeah....besides, having gender-based robots would probably just lead to confusion, develoupment of emotions and...well.... procreation.:O_o:

Ah- ANYWAYS....*can't beleive i just said that*
Gamma's empathy was probably one of the most redeeming and admorable qualities that he had.... Not must humans have that... At least not fully.
