Keeping yourself out of the argument, eh? (Wise move) I personally have him as a 'Tasmanian/Siberian Tiger fusion formed when Dr Neo Cortex tried to resurrect an extinct animal from D.N.A. whom can switch between forms when in posession of a Power Crystal (he uses this to swing between keeping his look and personality in CotT and doing fan-service)', but your take on it is far less complicated, so to speak.
As for the measurement stats, I had him as 80kg and 1.8m, so I wasn't that far. I wasn't that far with Dingodile's height either (2.1m) but I had weight at 350kg...a bit more than 95kg.
Blame Vector. I used him as a guide to crocodilian stats (does that mean that Vector is just madly obese?)
Yeah, 'Mutated cat' is about the one official statement I could get of Tiny's species (from the timeline of the original official website).
Well, the stats are taken from the Titans version, but it can't be that off. While the designs are different the sizes and proportions are more or less consistant with the original designs (or at least as consistant as a Crash character ever is, *compare Cortex and Coco's heights with Crash in different games, as well as the gigantic Crunch of WoC for example*). Also note that Crash was originally claimed to be about 1m tall by Naughty Dog (about the same size as Sonic). In CTTR, he is about the size of an adult human (comparing sizes in CotT, I'd say he's about Cortex's size of 1.6m).
Well Vector is a Sonic character and has far less realistic proportions than Dingodile (though that isn't saying much). I don't know which game series would make their stats more accurate (I always thought Dingodile was a little smaller than Tiny though).
Well,...maybe Dingodile's just younger than Vector (hey, if the stats are anything like the Sonic series, the characters are probably a lot younger than they seem ).
With these stats released, I wonder if they'll do a Sonic Channel profile style project for Crash, I'd at least like some official stats for the hero characters.

Lol wtf? Only 90kg? That's actually very small for someone that tall (not flaming just saying) and especially for a tiger o_O I think I'll stick with the sizes I made up for the characters thankyou..... lol XD
heh anyways, the new upgraded wallpaper looks great though! Awesome work with the high res version

All very well, except that Tiny is actually a creation of N Brio, rather than Cortex, as hinted in at least two quotes in Cortex Strikes Back. But imaginative reason nonetheless...looking back, he did always look like a cross between the two species, sans the stripes. To me, he doesn't work when he's purely one species (I never liked his Twinsanity or Titans designs).

Beats me, though Tiny, even though looking VERY different in Titans, does seem to have a similar height and bulk as before, so I suppose it fits the original almost as much. Maybe it's just a typo in the bios, like they do with the Sonic character bios sometimes.
Thanx. I appreciate all the deviants who have bothered to fave a slightly better version of the same artwork over again.

Not nessessarily. Note that these quotes mainly come from Cortex, who obviously wasn't being the most sincere at that time. Also note that Tiny's lair seems to be inside a space station, filled with Cortex lab assistants. While it is likely that he was Brio's minion, there is a possiblity that Tiny, similar to N Gin, was used secretly by Cortex as a sort of 'insurance' of collecting the crystals from Crash, at least that's the best theory I could think of to explain how he would suddenly be Cortex's most loyal minion in all future titles straight afterwards (he's basically the guy's pet in CNK). Perhaps he was just deliberately an unidentified baddie to add suspicion to both Cortex and Brio.
A think the whole species thing was deliberate in that while Tiny seems kinda to be based on a Tazmanian Tiger, they gave him Siberian Tiger aspects as a joke (as in 'hey, a tiger's a tiger'.

Wow, nice ! XD (Yay for updated versions!)
And Tiny is a tasmanian tiger (NTSC version of Crash-2 has him named "Taz Tiger" in a boss battle's pause-screen). He's strange for a mutated cat... And besides, Crash series was originally built around Australia and regional islands' fauna, so it couldn't be a usual cat (probably, this statement is someone's mistake). Trust 'Naughty Dog' games
Maybe...but unlike Dingodile, whom has been credited as being a creation of both scientists, but never really specified within the games themselves, Tiny just appears to have been credited as the creation of one when he is really the creation of the other (in this case, the "other" is Brio). And furthermore, only one of those quotes came from Cortex...the other one came from Brio himself. Considering at the end of the day that Brio was the "good guy", it'd be more likely he was telling the truth. I think.
