1. I ADORE 'golden age' shorts from the 1940s/50s (e.g. Looney Tunes).
2. I'm slowly going off the Crash Bandicoot series (hense the lack of art).
3. I'm working on an animation piece for University studies.
4. I'm what seems to be the 1% of people who DIDN'T think Sonic Chronicles was awesome.
5. I have a Nintendo Wii, Mario Kart Wii is brilliant.
6. My first games console was an Atari ST (hail Robocod). :D
7. I have two fillings in my teeth, though I have yet to break a bone in my body *touch wood*.
8. My favorite gaming genre is platforming.
9. I'm a negative, opinionated, self-promoting egotist.

Hey... I feel the same too. I just hate how it takes so much freaking damage just to kill even the simplest of enemies, it just gets old you know? And how moves go through your special power like I go through pepsi.

Same here. I've had very few major injuries in my life.

*gasp* That's awesome! It's so rare to find someone that loves the good old platformer genre.

4. The combat was okay but quickly became repetitive. And yes the difficulty level wasn't balanced. Why were there so many early battles at a complex level yet any innovative ones such as the last potentially awesome Super Sonic battle a one hit breeze? A lot of my complaints go to characterization and story as well, which seemed extremely underenthasised and bland (made worse given Unleashed's, despite a seemingly corny theme, was actually pretty good). The game could have been great, perhaps that's what's so annoying about it, it was a great concept, they just didn't implement it very well.

8. We're both just little kids, aren't we? :blush:

Seriously though, I don't understand why people find the need to play only games with bloodlust and adult themes. If it's fun, what's the problem?

4. I know, it's one thing for a game to be bad but even worse when it COULD have been so much better. *sigh*

8. Yep yep yep! A great example I think is Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg, it looks childish yet it's a really fun game to play. People need to open their minds a bit more.

Too me S.C was alright. I enjoyed it. But it wasn't by any means awesome. To me any critics who gave between the scores of 6-7 I agree with, any higher is silly.

That seems about fair. I don't think it would have been as big a disappointment if they hadn't made promises of 'rejuvinating the franchise' that they didn't really keep.

I may be a bit harsh about it, S.C. had good points, but was still very disapointing. I just don't think it was an improvement over stuff like Unleashed and Rush Adventure, which were decent attempts at the Sonic universe. It was better than Next Gen, though that's not a big acheivement.

A lot of my frustration and bitterness about it may be enthasised by the fact everyone else thinks it's so perfect (hense point nine, I need everyone else to think like me). At least we have each other though.
